Tommi Trendy 2010 Report
Meeting of Tommi team with business partners and customers took place in the second half of June – on 19. 6. in Kladno and 26. 6. in Olomouc – in a friendly atmosphere and nice weather in a spirit of coming holidays.

Nevertheless, together we devoted these two Saturdays to business, its novelties and ideas about how to face impacts of an economic decrease, which has been marked also in some segments of our branch of business.
In comparison with the year 2008, when Trendy took place at 3 places of Bohemian and Moravian, we are pleased there has been noticed the same interest and attendance of companies. It stands to reason that despite of a slight economic stagnation businessmen still keep on searching different ways of sales support in an effort to attract the final consumer and to invite him to visit their shops.

- 89% of companies participated in Tommi Trendy intend to visit the next year as well.
- 70% of companies appreciate the possibility to purchase novelties for initial special prices in preference as well as other favourite goods of Tommi's assortment within 30 days with discount.
- A 35% discount on the wide assortment of Tommi's offer was the highest discount, which customers had a chance to win.

- 40% of companies won the second highest discount of 30 %.

- A 20% discount was a security for everyone not to leave empty handed. As in the last years we offered discounts from 20% and higher on the majority assortment of Tommi.
- KČ 52 200,– (EUR 2088,–) is the value of the real presents, which were given to our customers in the final drawing concerning both of our actions. The lots drawing offered a DVD portable recorder, a garden lawn mower Alko and the main prize LCD TV set.

Till 15. 7. we have accepted and processed 83% of orders from Trendy participants, the total value amounts 91% of the total value of orders from Trendy 2008. This is a proof for us that businessmen feel urge to be active, to offer novelties and prepare attractive actions for their customers. For all these are the bargain purchases at Tommi helpful.

Novelties with the biggest interest? Especially these:
- Dr. Jag – the range of chewing dental delicacies.

- Tommi Dog shampoo – the range of shampoos with natural ingredients.

- Models in new colours and shapes – Cat's Dream Sleep and Play.

- Puppy Field – innovated training pads for puppies and newly also sanitary pads for medical attendances and households.

- Top Runner – transport boxes with an attractive design dedicated for small rodents and cats created by Belgian producer Moderna Products.

- Morando Professional – meat cans, patés, alu trays and pouches for dogs and cats. The range of cans completes dry food for dogs for all age groups and by dry food for cats.
The invitation to Trendy was accepted by representatives of foreign companies, which Tommi represents on the Czech market:
- The Italian company Morando was introduced by its export manager Mr. Gianlucca Baldi who actively presented their company philosophy and its products, debated with Czech businessmen and took their questions.

- Mrs. Caroline Saelen, the business manager of Moderna Products from Belgium, presented novelties from their production, which had been firstly introduced on the Interzoo exhibition in Nuremberg and shortly after on Tommi Trendy. The presentation were completed with a DVD record with a view into the company and its production process of breeders accessories.

- Mr. Nicolas Lefebvre from Dog n' Cat International, the producer of Mastery pet food, brought a detailed presentation of production process and all advantages of Mastery in comparison with other brands of super premium pet foods on the market. Together with the brand manager for Mastery on our market, Mrs. Martina Kaňková, they took specific questions from customers.

The action targets set at Tommi for the action Trendy 2010 are already being considered as fulfilled.
Our thanks belong to companies which cooperated in organizational way, to our foreign suppliers who contributed with their novelties and sales support to increase the attractivity of the whole action. I would like to thank to colleagues from Tommi who cared for necessary preparatory work and to colleagues from logistic and stock department who are going to work and dispatch deliveries of goods onto shops of our customers in the earliest possible time.
